Eddie`s Famous Cafe in Los Banos

Average place to eat. Friendly service and good food. I had one of there hamburgers. It was good but just didn't really hit the spot. For the price I'd go to habit hamburger next time.

Service was great, we forgot our water bottle and the waiter went outside to look for us. Food was delicious, biscuits are huge. I did like the steak better than the fried steak.

The sign says "best breakfast in CA" and I agree! We were very pleasantly surprised. Huge, delicious ham steak, freshly made green salsa which tasted great on crunchy cottage potatoes. Huge biscuits. Great, friendly, fast service.

Friendly, Warm, Authentic, Family Restaurant with delicious food, generous portions, reasonable prices and an all-around wonderful experience. It is really like eating at a relative's house! Definitely worth the stop! You won't be disappointed.

We came here on our way to Gilroy back in 2017. The food was great, the staff was friendly. This time around, staff was rude, not a smiling face around, even the other customers were unfriendly. The food was bad... Gravy was bland and lumpy, sausage was over cooked, ham was tough and under cooked near the bone. My husband ordered coffee, sugar was at the table, when the waitress brought his coffee they did not bring him, or even ask if he wanted cream. I ordered orange juice, it was the best part of my breakfast, but I wasn't offered more when I finished my drink. It's surprising that the service was so bad because the prices were not cheap. 2 adult breakfast, 2 small children's breakfast & drinks $42.00.... Will find a new stop in Los Banos for our next trip.

This is definitely a hidden gem! The best breakfast I’ve had in a very long time! Staff is very friendly, the place is clean, enjoyable experience from start to finish. We will definitely go back!

Not bad for my first time. I had seen thing place go by as I was looking for a place to eat and decided to try it out. I walked in and was greeted by a nice elderly lady who sat me and took the time to small talk (which doesn't seem to happen much anymore). I got my food in a reasonable time and it was also the way I ordered it. The portion size was good for the price. Food tasted great. No complaints. Just another happy customer. I'd recommend it.

Family owned restaurant with freshly made breads and cinnamon rolls. Ordered a burger, tried the biscuits and gravy and the cinnamon roll. I have a big sweet- tooth, so the cinnamon roll was the-icing-in-the-cake with my meal. The food was good, so was the customer service.

Eddie's Restaurant is one of the best in Los Banos, and very good for passerby. The seafood omelette and steak & eggs are the best I tasted. The price is very affordable and the owner is very friendly.

The food is really good, and tasty. The dessert menu is more expansive than most places. The margaritas are very tasty. The red salsa served with the chips is really tasty and has a great, non-fire breathing flavor that goes really well with the margarita. And Samantha is a truly wonderful person, who also happens to be a pretty darned good waitress. I heard her take a very specific and detailed order from the table next to ours and the customer was very pleased when her dinner came just as she has ordered it. Will definitely be going back.

We came here for lunch three years ago from SF to LA en route I5. Best place for brunch and breakfast. Came back three years later for lunch from Menlo Park to Yosemite en route 152, still good!

This place gives a home type of feeling. You just feel very welcomed the food is amazing every time I go out and it's for breakfast this is the first option no doubt. The chicken fries steak is delicious, and not to mention their cinnamon rolls are huge!

Blown away by menu...never knew they existed, stop by chance...my 1st stop from now on !!! Great service
